Franklin Institute
Founded in 1824, this Philadelphia institution at 20th & The Parkway features three floors of interactive science exhibitions, a Planetarium, 3D and IMAX Theaters all with the goal of inspiring a passion for learning about science and technology in everyone! Host to traveling exhibitions like Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt, June 5, 2010 - January 2, 2011.

Lectures: The Franklin Institute hosts lectures and panel discussions on hot topics in science, including medicine and astronomy.
Community/public events: Check The Franklin Institute’s event calendar often. Highlights include Heart Health activities in February, the annual Spring Training Day to mark the start of baseball season in March, and a celebration of National Astronomy Day in late April. There is always something new happening!
