Rodin Museum
It’s just a few blocks from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and houses one of the world’s largest collections devoted to the celebrated late 19th-century French sculptor Auguste Rodin. With extraordinary works of art and a spectacular garden, the Rodin Museum offers a calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
- The Thinker
Perhaps the most famous sculpture in the world, The Thinker beckons visitors as they approach the historic Meudon gate in front of the Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
- Rodin's Greatest Bronzes
Inside, past the reflecting pool, visitors will discover many of Rodin's greatest bronzes, including the monumental The Burghers of Calais, Eternal Springtime, and his culminating creation, The Gates of Hell.
- The Rodin Gardens
Designed by Jacques Gréber as part of the Museum's overall plan, the Rodin Gardens have remained a calm respite from the clatter of the city, even as the Parkway has changed over the years. As Rodin himself knew, the appreciation of works of art is heightened by nature—and that is the goal of the Rodin Gardens.

Tours
Free guided tours are offered to the public at 1:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and on the first and third Saturdays of the month. Visitors should gather in the Main Entrance Hall. Please note: Tours are free after the suggested admission donation.
